Any business consists of many related processes. For example, a store selling clothing will have these business processes:
- Managing inventory.
- Procurement
- Sales.
- Customer information management.
- Accounts
More often than not, these business processes are being run by one or more software applications.
Email Notifications
Let us assume that there is a clothing store called ‘Majestic Man Store’.
This store has an item called ‘Majestic Man Slim Fit Cotton Casual Printed Shirt for Men’.
The manager in charge of clothing wants to be notified every time this particular shirt is purchased by a customer. He will ask his IT Manager to set up an email notification to send him an email every time this particular item is sold.
The email notification will help the manager in charge of clothing to keep a close watch on the sales of this product as soon as it is sold.
This is one example of an email notification in a business.
As business application software engineers, our applications must be capable of helping our customers with the most efficient and reliable email notification system.
